Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Isabelle Sanchez, doing business as The Firm Tech ("we", "us"), handles personal information collected through thefirmtech.one (the "Site"). We are the personal information controller for the Site. We are based in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, Philippines, and we follow the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).

What we collect

When you send an inquiry. The contact form asks for your email address and a message. We receive whatever you choose to write in the message.

When you visit the Site. Our hosting provider processes technical details such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is needed to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.

To stop spam, the contact form uses a third-party security check that analyzes browser and device signals, such as your IP address, to confirm a person is submitting it.

We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we use it

To read and reply to your inquiry, and to follow up about a possible project.
To keep the Site and contact form secure and free of spam.

We process your information because you consent by sending the inquiry, because it is needed to take steps you asked for before a possible contract, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the Site secure (Section 12, Data Privacy Act). We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers who handle data on our behalf:

cloud hosting providers, to run the Site and process form submissions;
domain and security providers, to route traffic to the Site and block spam;
email and productivity providers, to store inquiries and send us inquiry emails.

These providers may process and store data outside the Philippines. As required by the Data Privacy Act, we stay responsible for your information when they handle it, and we use them only under agreements that require them to protect it. You can ask us for the current list of providers at any time. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless they lead to a working relationship, in which case our agreement with you governs retention. After that, we delete or anonymize them. Technical logs kept by our providers are deleted on their standard schedules.

Your rights

You may ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
correct it;
delete or block it;
stop using it, or object to how we use it;
send it to you in a commonly used electronic format;
explain how we collected and used it;
withdraw your consent, without affecting processing already done.

Email contactus@thefirmtech.one with your request. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will reply within 30 days.

You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph), and claim indemnity for damages under the Data Privacy Act.

Security

We limit access to inquiries to the people who need to respond to them, and we use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the Site. If a data breach affects your personal information and the law requires us to tell you, we will notify you and the National Privacy Commission as its rules require.

No system is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, payment details, or highly confidential information through the contact form.

Children

The Site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
